Lily Ella SS20 Collection | Lily Ella
At Lily Ella, we’re proud of our Northern roots.
After first opening our doors in August 2013, Lily Ella has proudly flown the flag for independent fashion in the North East for the last seven years, creating all of our beautiful, timeless collections in-house. The team includes founder and designer Zoe Glover and a specialist team of garment technicians and merchandisers.
Founded by a team who are passionate about print, garments and quality, Lily Ella’s inspiration for the brand was close to home and the new Spring Summer collection is no exception. From Cullercoats to Glanton, Clifton to Prudhoe, Lily Ella’s SS20 womenswear collection pays homage to some of our most memorable, idyllic spots around the North East. Keep reading the Lily Ella Spring/Summer 2020 womenswear collection guide, as we talk you through some of our favourite spots around the North East and the exclusive Lily Ella clothing collection that has taken inspiration from the places we hold close to us.
Cullercoats
Small, yet picturesque, the quaint coastal village of Cullercoats is situated between Tynemouth and Whitley Bay and is home to a small, but beautiful sandy bay. We particularly love this secluded spot at Lily Ella for its coastal walks, as the Cullercoats village is filled with award-winning ice-cream parlours and you’re never too far away from a traditional fish and chip shop. Our Cullercoats button-up top is a feminine, classic white style with lace detail across the front and shoulders. Charming, breathable and perfect for a sunny day at the seaside thanks to the 100% cotton fabric, this feminine favourite is a summer wardrobe staple for all spring activities.
Here at Lily Ella, we recommend pairing our signature Cullercoats top with our blissfully comfortable Marden trousers. These stripey, nautical-inspired trousers feature a fully elasticated waist and are made from 100% cotton - perfect for keeping you cool, comfortable and stylish for whatever activities the spring and summer months may bring.

A small village nestled near Hexham in the Northumbrian valley of South Tyne, Langley is renowned for its rich historical culture, thanks to the 14th-century Langley Castle standing proudly as a key local attraction. Favoured for its exquisite interiors, idyllic grounds and impressive architecture, the luxurious fortified castle gave us the inspiration to create an equally as dazzling clothing collection. Discover the Langley Blouse at Lily Ella, a stunning, superbly cut blouse made from a rich green fabric emblazoned with a dramatic paisley design.
