So Channel 4 pulled it off!  Yes, like everyone else we were sceptical that Bake Off could possibly survive the move to C4, but against all expectations – WE LOVE IT!

 Now the diminutive Sandi Toksvig and the colourful Noel Fielding have settled into their gently joshing roles, the series is cruising towards the grand finalé.  We already loved baker extraordinaire Paul Hollywood, but the revelation of the series has been the fabulous Prue Leith! 

 At 77 years old she looks tremendous and has the doughty presence and kudos necessary to replace the ‘irreplaceable’ Mary Berry.  We are in love with her love of colour, her bold separates, her stunning statement pieces in clashing colours that really work. But the big question is, WHERE does she get her glasses?  Her big bold frames, as bold as her outfits, have become part of her signature look.  She’s worn lots of different pairs as the series has progressed.  Well, we can reveal that her favoured brand is Ronit Furst.   They’re available at lots of good opticians and you can view their range here:
