Our Favourite Fashion Photography Exhibition in London | Lily Ella

We haven't got down there yet, but a very good friend who has been assures us that this new exhibition is ‘absolutely fabulous!’.

It's at the Fashion and Textile Museum and this is what they say about it:

Exhibition Dates: until 21 January 2018

Louise Dahl-Wolfe (1895–1989) is one of the most important women fashion photographers of the first part of the 20th century. This is the first major retrospective of her work in the UK, and a key focus of the exhibition is Dahl-Wolfe’s 22 years as leading contributor to Harper’s Bazaar. Considered a pioneer of modern fashion photography, the exhibition highlights how Dahl-Wolfe defined the image of the modern independent post-war woman.

Wow, we can’t wait! So looking forward to immersing ourselves in a wonderment of beautiful and iconic fashion photography. One to save up for a treat in the New Year perhaps?
