Established in August 2013, Lily Ella was the result of founder Zoe Glover being made redundant from her previous fashion job as a buyer for a mail order company. It was during this period, that she decided to follow her dreams and act on her lifelong ambition and start her own fashion label.
When choosing the name, Zoe looked close to home and took inspiration from that which she held closer and more dear than anything else – the names of her two young daughters, Lily and Ella.

“I needed a name that incorporated my visions and values, something that was personal to me, and something that embodied the feel I wanted to portray through the label. The meanings of their names reflect exactly what my clothing collection is about, and after realising the brand’s name any initial hesitations subsided and everything felt right.”
In 2023, Lily Ella was acquired by leading ecommerce agency Venture Stream, who have worked with Lily Ella for almost 10 years and now own and operate the brand.
